Marilyn, I had cut all the plants back pretty radically, they do need some leaves to soak up the sun. I'll feed them next week, my landscape friend said wait since they are still in shock a bit...

Terry, I truly think that you could put a pencil in the ground and it would grow! Ha Ha that's an old one... I am happy to keep you supplied with Mazatlan pictures for you to look at while you listen to the rain on the roof!

Islagringo, Yup!

Mic, I think you might be like Terry, feeling the sun and warm vicariously through the internet! I remember when I was doing the same... Glad you are enjoying the videos, I will probably have something from the day of the dead callejoneada on Sunday. Stay tuned!

Tropical plants in tropical climates are amazing growing machines. I am glad to see they are comming back so soon.

Keep posting your pictures, and telling us about the warm days down there. It is getting cold here in Washington state. I enjoy your posts and look forwardard to reading about what is going on in your "Mazatlan" world.

Looking good! Good for you.
Maybe they would like being cut back a little so they can concentrate on recovering and sending out new shoots. A little abono (fertilizer) would go good too. Do you use those little blue pellets over there too?
