Semana Santa at the beach is a pretty amazing adventure. People watching is the order of the day. We arrived at our favorite palapa restaurant around 11 and the beach was more busy than usual. But by 2 pm, it was packed.

The beach vendors were out in force…here are mangos on a stick.

    …and ice cream…

    …and pastries…

The lifeguards were keeping an eye on everything…

…while Paul and Jessica shared a meal of grilled fish…

Some people nearby requested something like 9 songs from some musicians…here is a video of them that also shows how busy the beach was. We only saw one other gringo on the beach the whole time we were there…and really had fun watching happy Mexican families enjoy their vacation in the sun.
