Ah, Mazatlan!

We got here on Saturday afternoon, and by now, Monday morning, we are totally relaxed! What a crazy time it has been the last few weeks!

It is sunny and warm here. I can hear breakfast happening down in the courtyard so we’ll head down in a few minutes.

Last night we had dinner with a couple we met through our blog. It was such a nice time – very nice people who are planning a move to Mexico in probably about seven years.

We drove all around yesterday, did some shopping, walked on the malecon, walked on the beach, and scouted out houses.

This morning our realtor is taking us to see some houses we had identified (from the web) as the best possibilities. We are super excited about one in particular…we drove past it and loved the block and the neighborhood.

So our next post will be once we’ve seen these five houses…then we’ll know if we keep on looking or if one of them is the place! Wish us luck!
