and the big day is…..that Paul is going to give three months notice at work!

That’s a huge milestone for us – and almost perfectly coincides with the 95 days remaining on our Countdown clock! Amazing that it is already here.

We are also excited for our next trip to Mazatlan, and we are going to be looking at houses.

The work here at home is moving along very well. The painting got done, and looks wonderful. We are having new carpet put in the basement next week, and then we will be able to move our office downstairs and move most of the rest of our furniture into the current office so they can refinish the wood floors while we are away.

It’s a sunny day today – we are working on moving the last of the bark. I did all the outdoor projects that had been on my list this week, so we are in good shape for putting the house on the market when we get back from Mazatlan.

Now the only question is – how hard will it be for Paul to get up and go in to work every day once he’s given his notice?
