We’re heading out in the morning – and are excited to start on this next chapter in our Mexican adventure. Even though we’ve always interviewed the places we’ve visited as potential new homes, for some reason this trip feels a lot more serious. It’s probably because of our level of commitment as well as Paul’s impending retirement.

We’ll be in Mazatlan for a week and then Queretaro for another. We have tours set up with a realtor in each city, since the type of housing available and prices are pretty important to us. We’ll scout out the places to walk, the shopping and restaurants, as well as the parks and views. We’ll talk to as many people as we can.

We’re not sure when we’ll find the time for a post – but we plan on posting updates if we can. After all, the whole reason we started this blog in the first place was to document our decision making process. How could we have known it would turn into so much more than that?
